Dedicated to the memory of Tony Tiger

This site is a tribute to Tony Tiger, who was born in Wrexham on July 16, 1976. He is much loved and will always be remembered. Tony was more commonly referred to by his friends as The Dog!
Tony took his life on the 14th of August 2007. Although he had given a few of us a small glimpse in to his troubles, he never gave any one of us the full story, if only he had. He had recently sought help, from mental health services but unfortunately did not receive any ,he was very aware of what the outcome would be.
He always had a smile on his face and always offered a helping hand to those that needed it. He was a true friend, stuck by you through thick and thin.
Tony was a very popular lad who was liked by people from all over our town and he would have been surprised I am sure by the huge turnout for his funeral, although we were not.
I had known Tony for about 16 years as one of the lads around town, he and my partner Leigh had been friends much longer and had been very close over the last ten years as Tony helped him through many difficulties. Since Leigh and I have had our family he had been a large part of our lives, he has cherished our children and been their play mate. Always there for the highs and the lows. He was and always will be a part of our family, our children loved him, our daughter even has a doll she called Tony, much to his amusement. Our big regret is that our youngest child who is six months old will never know him, and that is why we want to keep his memory alive.
He is loved by all his family, he was a much loved and precious grandson, son, nephew and cousin. He will be missed by them all.
He has left a big hole in all of our lives.
We will never stop asking ourselves why.
